Appointments
Appointments System
You will be registered with the practice and have a registered GP. Patients may see any GP but we understand that patients do like to see certain GPs for continuity of care, although this may require waiting longer on occasion for the relevant GP to be available.
Book on the Day Appointments
We currenly use a system of Book on the Day telephone triage appointments. We ask that patients call at 8am for a morning appointment and at 2pm for an afternoon/evening appointment. Our reception staff are trained to ask a series of questions - please be as co-operative as you can with this process. It is aimed at helping you get the most appropriate service to meet your needs. Our staff are all trained to offer this service and act according to our instructions and will treat any information as confidential.
Other appointments
Appointments with nursing staff and for blood tests may be booked in advance.
Test Results
These are available between 2pm and 5pm daily. Please follow the instructions on the telephone system to select the appropriate option.

Home Visits
These are usually for patients who are housebound. Please make every effort to come to the surgery if you can. If you require a home visit please phone 01322 668775 before 10.30am if possible. Your doctor may ring you prior to visiting. We work alongside a community based paramedic home visiting team, so when home visits are arranged with the practice they are often made on our behalf by this paramedic team.
Extended Access Hubs
We provide access to other HUB sites for patients to book evening, weekend and bank holiday appointments
Patients may book appointments with GPs in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley. These HUBs are located across the three areas and give patients the opportunity to have an appointment at a time to suit them.
Appointments, until 8pm Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, may be booked in advance during practice opening hours.
When attending other HUBs the health professionals treating you will be able to see your full medical records, providing consent is given. These appointments are for non-urgent routine care. If you need medical assistance when your practice is closed, call NHS 111.
Please ask reception for further details. There are also sites available for phlebotomy that patients may be booked into or book themselves when we do not have availability at our daily blood clinics. Please ask at Reception for further details.
Text Reminder Service
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.

Training Practice
We are a training practice for doctors wishing to enter general practice.
Sometimes consultations are videoed for training purposes. In this case you will be asked for your consent both before and after the consultation, which you can refuse without affecting your care. All recordings are erased after a maximum of 6 months.
